Metal and metal wares share in the total exports to far foreign countries reached 9.1% in January 2017 (8% year ago).
According to the Federal Customs Service, the monetary volume of the exports grew by 66.4% YoY, and physical – by 12%.
Copper and copper alloys exports increased 2.2-fold, aluminum – by 17.6%, iron and alloyed steel semi-finished products – by 8.7%. At the same time iron and alloyed steel flats exports dropped by 3.6% YoY.
The share of metal and their wares exports to the CIS-countries in January totaled 11.6% (8.7% in January 2016). Their monetary volume increased by 78.7% YoY, physical – by 78.1%. Ferroalloys exports rose 2.2-fold, ferrous metals and wares – by 79.4%, including iron and non-alloyed steel flats – by 46.5%. (Ukrainian metal)
