The Intradepartmental Commission on International Trade has imposed final antidumping measures on the import of carbon steel and other alloyed steel rods from Belarus and Moldova.

The antidumping investigation was initiated by ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih.

The investigation was carried out from Q2 2017 to H1 2021 and was revised in H2 2020 – H1 2021.

It was found out that the import from Belarus harmed local domestic manufacturers due to dumping prices.

The antidumping duty for Belarusian exporters was set at 47.31% to 79.21% and for Moldovan – 13.8-35.37%. In particular, the duty for Belarus Iron and Steel Works was 47.31% of the customs cost and for Moldova Iron and Steel Works – 13.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
