The Commission of the State Council on Energy warns of a heavy crisis in the coal industry of Russia. This year, it could sustain losses of up to 450 billion rubles, which would exceed its income for the previous two years.
The crisis is due to the drop in coal prices, increase in logistics costs and loan expenses.
To overcome the crisis, it is proposed to cancel exports duty or set a minimum price, with which the duty will not be applied.
It is also advised to set preferences and provide discounts on RZD tariffs. (Ukrainian metal)
