In January-November, ferroalloys manufacture in Ukraine decreased by 29.5% YoY, to 694.1 thousand tons.
According to the Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloys Producers, Zaporozhye and Nikopol Ferroalloys Plants (ZZF and NZF) decreased silicomanganese output by 31.2%, to 522.01 thousand tons.
Ferromanganese and other ferroalloys manufacture at ZZF, NZF and Kramatorsk Ferroalloys Plant (KFZ) fell by 18.5%, to 114.51 thousand tons. KFZ produced 34.09 thousand tons, but was idle in July-November.
Ferrosilicon manufacture went down by 9.9%, to 55.39 thousand tons, and metallic manganese – by 51.9%, to 2.8 thousand tons.
Pokrovsky and Marganets Mining and Processing Works produced 1.72 million tons of manganese concentrate, up by 10.5% YoY, with MGOK producing 511.53 thousand tons (+4.9%) and PGOK – 1.21 million tons (+13.1%).
PGOK also produced 159.17 thousand tons of iron ore sinter and 91.08 thousand tons of manganese sinter. (Ukrainian metal)
