Each day, more than 120 women get to the depth of several hundred meters at a DTEK mine not far from Pavlohrad – just 3% of all underground workers.

After the start of the large-scale Russian invasion, DTEK mines have undergone changes. Women appeared there, who were previously forbidden to work underground.

DTEK representatives say, without women, coal mining has become impossible.

DTEK Pavlohradvuhillya deputy director Andrey Chernetskiy said because of the war, there was shortage of employees. (Ukrainian metal)
