The State Agency of Infrastructure Restoration and Development will receive 20 thousand tons of rebars to build the second level protection structures over the energy objects thanks to USAID.
The structures will protect the energy objects from drones and “Shakheds”. Concrete structures have been under construction over the Ukrenergo network objects since March.
The second level will cover 22 substations and 63 autotransformers in 14 regions.
The decision to protect energy objects was approved by the government and the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rebars will be purchased from local manufacturers. (Ukrainian metal)
