Prices of steel rebars have again decreased because of weak demand. Some plants have even suspended manufacture.
This week, offers totaled 3300 zloty ($785) per ton CPT for a 12mm rebar as opposed to 3350 zloty a week before.
But for batches from 1000 tons, manufacturers were prepared to offer lower prices – 3200 zloty per ton.
On the secondary market rebars were offered for 3200-3350 zloty per ton CPT, slightly below previous week level.
The only import offer was for rebars in coils at EUR 715 ($784) per ton from Italy. (Ukrainian metal)
