In August, Ukraine increased steel manufacture by 64.5% YoY, to 602 thousand tons.
The country took the 20th place among the 63 global steel producers, according to Worldsteel.
Overall August steel output grew by 2.2%, to 152.62 million tons.
In January-August, Ukraine produced 4.03 million tons of steel, down by 22.3% YoY. Ukraine was on the 23rd place. (Ukrainian metal)
