ArcelorMital Kriviy Rih has constructed an underground service station for its mine transport at the depth of 1,135 meters.
Now the repair and maintenance of mine transport, electric locomotives and trolleys will be carried out in an up-to-date underground depot.
Previously, all the repair and maintenance checks of mine transport at the 1,135 horizon were performed at a temporarily garage. It allowed servicing only 1 unit at a time. Thus, it was decided to build a permanent underground station.
The length of the new depot is 50 meters.
Investments in the project amounted to 23 million UAH. (Ukrainian metal)
