A company from China has bought copper ingots worth not less than $7.4 million at a plant situated at the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. The company is under Western sanctions.

According to Reuters, China has never applied any limitations in trade with Russia, but USA has warned that it would blacklist companies that violate sanctions and warned China from supplying prohibited goods to Russia.

There are confirmations that China has been trading with Russia-occupied territories of Ukraine since February 24, 2022.

Thus, Quzhou Nova has bought 3220 tons of copper alloys in ingots from Debaltsevo Works of Metallirgical Machinery from October 8, 2022 to March 24, 2023.

The company representatives said they didn’t trade in copper alloys in ingots. (Ukrainian metal)
