In March, Zaporizhstal increased rolled metal output by 51.4% MoM, to 150.8 thousand tons.
Pig iron manufacture grew by 54.6%, to 193.6 thousand tons, and steel – by 54.4%, to 184.4 thousand tons.
At the same time, in March 2022, Zaporizhstal produced 62.1 thousand tons of rolled metal, 3.3 thousand tons of pig iron and 4.7 thousand tons of steel.
In Q1, Zaporizhstal output dropped by 40.3% YoY, to 1.18 million tons. In particular, the company produced 458.3 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 39.8%, 393.6 thousand tons of steel, down by 39.2%, and 325.7 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 42.3%. (Ukrainian metal)
