Quantitative restrictions have been imposed on the export of precious metals and raw materials containing them from the territory of Kyrgyzstan. The decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

It is aimed at protecting the domestic jewelry industry and assisting in the development of domestic jewelry production during processing of precious metals and raw materials containing them outside the customs territory.

It is forbidden to export more than 500 kilograms of precious metals.

The decision will come into force seven days after its official publication. (24.kg/Ukrainian metal)
