In October, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 1.426 million tons of iron and manganese ore, down by 24.6% MoM and by 77.9% YoY.
Export transportation grew by 0.7% MoM, to 971.8 thousand tons, accounting for 68%. Domestic transportation accounted for 32%, with 454 thousand tons transported, down by 13.6%.
In particular, PGOK shipped 365 thousand tons, up by 3% MoM, UGOK – 266 thousand tons (+12%), CGOK – 167 thousand tons (+1%), KZhRK – 92 thousand tons (-27%) and SevGOK – 43 thousand tons (-44%).
In January-October, iron ore transportation decreased by 54.5% YoY, to 29.31 million tons, with exports amounting to 20.77 million tons, down by 43.9%.
The largest shipper was PGOK (5.98 million tons), followed by SevGOK (3.79 million tons) and UGOK (3.71 million tons). (Ukrainian metal)
