In August, Ukraine decreased pig iron export by 29.9% MoM, to 100.4 thousand tons valued at $51.7 million, down by 41.4%.
According to the State Customs Service, in annual comparison exports dropped by 71.4% and by 74.4% respectively.
In January-August, Ukraine exported 877.6 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 59.6% YoY. In monetary terms exports decreased by 57.8%, to $475.5 million.
The main customers were the USA (40.4%), followed by Poland (33.2%) and Italy (9.3%). (Ukrainian metal)
