Ukrzaliznytsia has successfully held 19 auctions to sell scrap with the combined weight of 15.5 thousand tons having earned 87.6 million UAH.
The company intended to sell 67 lots – 49.9 thousand tons valued at over 217 million UAH.
48 auctions failed to be held due to the insufficient number of participants. UZ was unable to sell 31.3 thousand tons of scrap valued at 141.1 million UAH.
The average price of scrap at successful auctions was 5.67 UAH per ton.
There were three winners – Ferolit LLC, Vtormetallgroup LLC and Aliansmetprom LLC, which purchased 26.6 million UAH worth of scrap, 7.04 million UAH and 53.9 million UAH respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
