Uzmetkombinat intends to export its products to Europe, where free niches appeared after the suspension of deliveries from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

The company has opened a trading office in Vilnius and plans to supply rebars and wire rod to the Baltic States via railroad and by trucks, as well as to the Northern and Eastern Europe via the Klaipeda port.

Uzmetkombinat has already certified its rebars in Lithuania, Latvia and Sweden and expects to receive similar documents from Finland, Denmark and Norway.

The company hopes to export around 40 thousand tons of rebars and wire rod. (Ukrainian metal)
