During the week Zaporozhye defenders have received 1 thousand bulletproof vests and 700 helmets. The armor was provided by Metinvest.
“Since the first days of the Russian invasion Metinvest has been helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard and the territorial defense units. This is our duty as a Ukrainian company,” Zaporizhstal purchase director Yevgeniy Avdzhi has said.
Armor plates for vests are produced by Metinvest.
Since the start of the war, the group has provided over 20 thousand plates, 100 thousand vests and more than 3.5 thousand helmets to the military. (Ukrainian metal)
