Since February 24, the Metinvest Group has spent UAH 1.176 billion on projects of aid to Ukraine.
The main task of the humanitarian initiative was the purchase and delivery of humanitarian cargo, in particular, food from Europe to Ukraine.
In 2 months, almost 30 thousand people received this aid. Thanks to charitable contributions from almost 70 companies from all over the world, the regions affected by war received 1644 tons of food, hygiene and medicine products.
Together with the Ministry of Health, a special medical aid program was unfurled in Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog, Kamenskoye, Pokrovsk and Avdiivka focused on the purchase and delivery of thousand of medical kits, as well as medical equipment for hospitals. Moreover, despite the military activity, the group has provided 150 tons of oxygen to Covid-victims. (Ukrainian metal)
