156 people have been evacuated from Azovstal to Zaporozhye. Yet, hundreds of civilians remain blocked at the plant.
Metinvest will provide for the necessary help for those evacuated from its Mariupol plant.
“156 people stayed in the Azovstal shelters for almost 2 months. They say, that hundreds of people remain there, mostly women and children. Among those evacuated are many of our employees. And Metinvest is ready to help everyone,” the group HR director Ivan Goltvenko has said.
“They tell terrible things. That bombardments have been going on for 60 days, they lived in an information vacuum and each night said good-bye to their lives. These people need help, and it will be provided,” he noted. “All our Azovstal employees will be offered new jobs”. (Ukrainian metal)
