For the second time in 6 months Armenia is prolonging the ban to export metal scrap.
The decision was taken on January 20.
The ban was imposed to allow local manufacturers developing their own production using scrap and waste of non-ferrous metals and alloys.
According to statistics, in January-September 2021 metal output totaled over 70 thousand tons and this year is expected to exceed 100 thousand tons, up 2-fold YoY.
The ban is prolonged for 6 months, until June 25. (Ukrainian metal)
