Dneprovskiy Iron and Steel Works has suspended its blast furnace, steel smelting and rolling manufacture for a month to carry out machinery repair.
“DMZ suspends its operation every January to carry out current repairs in the main shops. The coke shop is operating though, as the 4 coke-oven batteries have been repaired there”, the DCH Steel CEO investment advisor Maksim Minyushkin has said.
If the repair is finished earlier, the operation will resume earlier as well. (Ukrainian metal)
