In January-October, Kazakhstan extracted 92.6 million tons of coal, up by 1.6% YoY.

Pavlodar region accounted for the most output – 53.7 million tons or 58%, down by 0.5%.

Karaganda region (31.4 million tons, +1.5%) and East-Kazakhstan region (7 million tons, +15.2%) were in the top-3.

In monetary terms output totaled 291.7 billion tenge.

Exports grew by 31.4%, to 21.1 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
