Units of Russian state nuclear corporation Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union (PIMCU) and Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), as well as gold miners White Gold and Polyus Magadan have submitted bids for an auction for the republic of Yakutia’s second largest gold deposit Kyuchus, the Federal Mineral Resources Agency said in a statement on September 23.

The auction will be held on October 8. The lowest bid is 2.210 billion rubles.

The deposit has an area of 8.35 square kilometers and reserves of 175 tons of gold. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
