Until the end of November, Azovstal intends to complete capital repair of air heaters No. 11 BIS of the blast furnace No. 3 and No. 12 BIS of the blast furnace No. 4.
Investments in the project amounted to 140 million UAH.
Thanks to repairs, the temperature in the furnace will be increased to 1200 degrees C, thus saving around 1 kg of coke on each ton of pig iron produced. (Ukrainian metal)
