Interpipe intends to increase its pipe heat treatment capacities 2.5-3-fold having constructed a new treatment unit at Interpipe Niko Tube.

“Global pipe buyers switch to premium and high-strength products. To improve pipe quality, it must be heat-treated. At present Interpipe heat treatment capacities are limited. Thus, we have started a new investment project to construct a heat treatment unit at Interpipe Niko Tube”, the company first deputy CEO Denis Morozov reported.

It is expected that the project will be implemented until the end of summer of 2022.

The capacity of the new unit will be 150 to 200 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
