An electric conveyer with the length of 4 km will be put into operation at the Mayskoye deposit in Chukotka, developed by the Mayskoye Gold Ore Company LLC, managed by Polymetall.
At present two loading and delivery machines are used in the mine. Until the end of the year, their number will double. Moreover, two electric dump trucks will be commissioned.
It is expected that the electric conveyer will start transporting ore in Q2 2022.
In January-June, Mayskoye processed 435 thousand tons of ore with the gold content of 6 g per ton.
Gold extraction rate grew by 5% YoY, to 92%. (Ukrainian metal)
