Authorities of the so-called Lugansk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, have decided to shut down three coalmines.
In particular, the mine named after Cosmonauts in the town of Rovenki will be closed. Until 2014, it was a part of DTEK Rovenkiantrazit. The reserves of the mine amount to some 7-10 million tons of anthracite.
The Krasniy Partizan mine will also be closed. It was a part of DTEK Sverdlovantrazit. The last mine is the Partizanskaya in the town of Antrazit, a part of the state enterprise Antrazit until 2014.
With these mines closed 3 to 4.5 thousand people will become jobless. (Ukrainian metal)
