In January-April, Ukraine exported 86.98 thousand tons of ferrous scrap (including 37.87 thousand tons in April), up 7.5-fold YoY, valued at $30.7 million, up 10-fold.

According to the State Customs Service, imports grew by 36.1%, to 7.76 thousand tons valued at $13.01 million, up 2.1-fold.

The main suppliers were Turkey (61.77% in monetary terms), Russia (29.56%) and the USA (3.13%), while customers – Turkey (94.65%), Lithuania (1.32%) and Germany (1.25%). (Ukrainian metal)
