The British Orsu Metals, developing the Sergeyevskiy gold ore deposit in Zabaikalskiy region, has backed out of buying the Rudnik Aleksandrovskiy, which develops a deposit with the same name in the region.

The companies earlier had a deal to sell the Aleksandrovskiy Mining and Processing Works. Moreover, the Sergeyevskoye ore was even processed at the GOK.

Yet, the operation showed that the gravity-floatation scheme used at the factory with further cyanidation was not suitable for the Sergeyevskoye ore. Thus, Orsu Metal decided not to buy the asset. (Ukrainian metal)
