In March, Zaporizhstal increased steel output by 14.1% YoY, to 343.7 thousand tons.
Pig iron output grew by 10.8%, to 394.3 thousand tons, and rolled metal – by 24.6%, to 291.5 thousand tons.
The increase in manufacture is due to shut down of the blast furnace No. 5 in March 2020 for repair.
In Q1, Zaporizhstal produced 1164.3 thousand tons of pig iron (+3.4% YoY), 1002.6 thousand tons of steel (+4.4%) and 855.5 thousand tons of rolled metal (+7.2%). (Ukrainian metal)
