Azovstal has commissioned a new blast furnace slag car in the metal slag processing shop.
Investments in the purchase amounted to 4.6 million UAH.
The volume of the car is 16.5 cubic meters and weight – 65 tons.
The temperature of hot slag is 1300-1400 degrees C, which results in a periodical need to replace slag cars. (Ukrainian metal)
