In January-October, Ukraine decreased ferrous scrap export by 20.5% YoY, to 32.374 thousand tons valued at $8.2 million, down by 27.5%.
According to the State Customs Service, in January Ukraine exported 2.87 thousand tons of scrap, in February – 8.01 thousand tons, in March – 493 tons, in April – 256 tons, in May – 4.86 thousand tons, in June – 316 tons, in July – 402 tons, in August – 3.39 thousand tons, in September – 4.56 thousand tons and in October – 7.22 thousand tons.
At the same time, imports decreased by 66.7%, to 15.21 thousand tons valued at $17.2 million, down by 41.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
