Ukrzaliznytsia intends to offer its services on locomotive repair to private companies. One of them could be Metinvest.
According to the company, Lviv Locomotive-Repair Works, Dniepropetrovsk Locomotive-Repair Works and Zaporozhye Electric Locomotive-Repair Works have to show their worth not only at the expense of Ukrzaliznytsia, but also on the open market.
That is why Ukrainian Railways is strengthening its work with private companies operating trains.
So far, negotiations have been carried out with Metinvest.
At present Metinvest sends its locomotives to Daugavpils Locomotive-Repair Works in Latvia for repair. (Ukrainian metal)
