In January-September, Ukraine decreased metal transportation via railroad by 7.6% YoY, to 15.3 million tons.
In particular, exports grew by 6%, to 11.5 million tons, while imports fell by 33.5%, to 435.7 thousand tons, transit – by 4.5%, to 848.5 thousand tons, and domestic – by 19.9%, to 2.5 million tons.
In September, metal transportation decreased by 9.8% YoY, to 1.54 million tons, with exports down by 15.9%, to 994.5 thousand tons, transit – by 24.3%, to 90.6 thousand tons, import up by 17.9%, to 65.3 thousand tons, and domestic – by 11.7%, to 389 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
