The Ministry of Energy and Environment Protection has announced the start of development of two new uranium ore deposits in Dniepropetrovsk region.
The ore will be mined on the territory of Surskoye and Novogurovskoye deposits.
Average output at the Surskoye deposit will amount to 100-300 tons per year. The deposit will be in development for 20 years.
Average annual output at the Novogurovskoye deposit will be 70-180 tons, with development to last for 20 years.
The deposits will be developed by Atomnye Energeticheskiye Sistemy LLC from Nikolayev region. (Ukrainian metal)
