In January-March, KAZ Minerals produced 74.9 thousand tons of copper, up by 7% YoY.

Gold output grew by 27.6%, to 55.4 thousand ounces, and silver – by 18%, to 739 thousand ounces.

Aktogai Mining and Processing Works mined 12.556 million tons of ore, up by 14%, and produced 27.2 thousand tons of copper, down by 12%. Cathode copper manufacture of oxide ore grew by 7%, to 6.1 thousand tons. Combined copper output totaled 33.3 thousand tons, down by 9.3%.

Bozshakol GOK decreased ore mining by 13%, to 7.705 million tons. Copper output grew by 25%, to 29.8 thousand tons, and gold – by 41%, to 42.3 thousand ounces. Silver manufacture went up by 37.3%, to 232 thousand ounces.

Ore mining in the Eastern region and Bozymchak (Kyrgyzstan) grew by 6%, to 1.007 million tons, with copper output up by 24%, to 11.8 thousand tons, gold – unchanged at 12.5 thousand ounces, silver – by 41.1%, to 443 thousand ounces, and zinc in concentrate – by 45.2%, to 9 thousand tons.
