In January-February, Ukrzaliznytsia increased iron ore, manganese ore and scrap transportation by 8% YoY.
In particular, transportation of iron and manganese ore grew by 8.1%, ferrous metals – by 0.1% and scrap – by 8.7%.
At the same time transportation of coke fell by 22.7%.
According to the State Statistics Service, the dynamics of scrap transportation improved from –22.7% to 8.7%.
In January-February, Ukrzaliznytsia transported 13.1 million tons of iron and manganese ore, 3.7 million tons of ferrous metals, 0.7 million tons of coke and 0.3 million tons of scrap. (Ukrainian metal)
