In January, Russia exported 7.6 thousand tons of ferrochrome, down by 26% MoM and by 35% YoY.

Price dropped from $1002 per ton to $989 per ton.

Deliveries to the Netherlands fell by 49%, to 3.4 thousand tons, and to Japan – from 2.3 thousand tons to 40 tons.

At the same time sales to Italy went up 4.5-fold, to 2.9 thousand tons.

In 2019 exports totaled 119 thousand tons, up by 19% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
