In January-February, Ukrainian seaports exported 6.6 million tons of iron ore, up by 41% YoY.

Transportation of ferrous metals grew by 7.8%, to 30.5 million tons, rolled metal – by 10%, to 1.96 million tons, and pig iron – by 12.2%, to 436.6 thousand tons.

At the same time transportation of scrap dropped by 14.2%, to 8.7 thousand tons, and other ferrous metals – by 0.5%, to 650 thousand tons.

The port Pivdenniy increased ore exports by 68.2%, to 5 million tons.

Port of Odessa transported 1 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 38.2%, Mariupol – 793.3 thousand tons, up by 74%, Olvia – 174 thousand tons, up by 44%, and Izmail – 37.5 thousand tons, up by 3.1%.

Nikolayev port decreased metal exports by 4.3%, to 589 thousand tons, Chernomorsk – by 41.3%, to 202.3 thousand tons, Kherson – by 6.1%, to 95.9 thousand tons, and Pivdenniy – by 78.1%, to 82.7 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
