In December 2019, Russia imported 417 tons of molybdenum ore and concentrate, up by 70% MoM and 3-fold YoY.

Deliveries from the USA dropped by 29%, to 100 tons, and from the Netherlands – by 25%, to 62 tons.

At the same time purchases in Chile grew 4-fold, to 80 tons, and in Mexico – from 2 to 131 tons.

In 2019 imports totaled 3 thousand tons, down by 3%, and in monetary terms – by 4%.

In December 2019 price dropped from $13.8 to $13.3 per kg. (Ukrainian metal)
