The authorities of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, a terrorist organization created and supported by Russia, acknowledged there were delays in paying salary, especially in mining and metal industries, in late 2019 and early January.
According to them, the main reason is that the world does not recognize the “republic”. Moreover, the ongoing military activity, spurred by Russia, and the economic blockade could not but add to the tension.
