In January RZD transported 100.2 million tons of cargo, down by 4.9% YoY.
In particular, 10.1 million tons of iron and manganese ore were transported, up by 2%.
Transportation of ferrous metals decreased by 2.2%, to 6.4 million tons, while of scrap grew by 12.6%, to 0.663 million tons.
Last year ferrous metals transportation totaled 73.8 million tons, down by 5.6% YoY, with scrap down by 7.7%, to 14.7 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
