Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), a subsidiary of Russian state nuclear power corporation Rosatom, launched a gold mining venture in the republic of Yakutia in 2019, and plans to produce its first gold in 2020, ARMZ said in a statement on January 27 without disclosing the name of the field that was launched.
“The gold production project in Yakutia has started, and our plans for 2020 include production of the first batch of the precious metal,” the statement read. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
