In January-November 2019 Russia produced 337.26 tons of gold, up by 16.2% YoY.

In particular, extracted gold accounted for 266.06 tons, up by 9.1%, secondary gold – 53.6 tons, up by 67.6%, and by-product gold – 17.6 tons, up by 22%.

The Far Eastern Federal District accounted for some 50% of gold, having extracted 170.29 tons, up by 14.8%.

Magadan region and the Republic of Sakha saw the highest output growth of 22.9%, to 42.99 tons, and of 34.9%, to 34.21 tons respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
