In December 2019 the electric steel smelting shop No. 2 of the Krasniy Octyabr Iron and Steel Works produced 26.2 thousand tons of steel, up by 1 thousand tons from the output target.
The company also produced 19 thousand tons of rolled metal.
Moreover, the company was able to make 10 smeltings a day as opposed to the usual 7. Thus, the furnace No. 5 can now produce over 1300 tons of steel per day. (Ukrainian metal)
