In January-November 2019 Russia imported 6.716 million tons of ferrous metals, up by 1% YoY.
According to the Federal Customs Service, in November 2019 imports grew by 6.88% MoM, to 0.548 million tons.
Imports of ferrous metals without pig iron, ferroalloys, scrap and waste totaled 5.404 million tons, up by 2.3%, with 0.478 million tons imported in November 2019, up by 13.8%.
Russia also imported 0.955 million tons of steel pipes in 11 months of 2019, up by 189.8% YoY. In November 2019, 0.045 million tons of pipes were imported, down by 1% MoM. (Ukrainian metal)
