In January-October Russia’s imports amounted to $201.4 billion, up by 1.5% YoY.

Far foreign countries accounted for 88.9%, and CIS – for 11.1%.

The share of metal and metal wares in the import structure totaled 7.5%, up from 7.3%. In particular, in imports from foreign countries – 6.3% (6%), and from CIS – 16.8% (17.9%).

Pipe imports grew 2-fold, ferrous metals structures – by 38.6%, flat iron and alloyed steel – by 4.8%. (Ukrainian metal)
