Interpipe has developed and shipped the first batch of ULT SP mounted axle for Spanish market.
The new structure is a part of the Ultimate product line and is intended for cargo railroad cars.
In October Interpipe successfully completed all tests and certifications at European centers.
The wheel pair is designed specifically for Iberian railroad, used in Spain, Portugal and partly in France. It’s wider than the European gauge – 1668 mm vs 1435 mm.
Interpipe has also designed an axle structure for Spanish gauge – SP G, which has not been produced previously. (Ukrainian metal)
