This year the Ministry of Energy expects to retain the previous year coal output volumes.
In particular, until the end of the year it is planned to mine 440 million tons of coal, exporting some 210 million tons.
At the same time in November the energy minister Alexander Novak claimed some 445 million tons of coal would be mined this year and 453 million tons next year.
In January-October Russia mined 359 million tons of coal. Thus, the output plan has been 82% fulfilled. (Ukrainian metal)
