In October metal output decreased by 4.3% YoY, while in 10 months grew by 0.8%.
According to the Federal Service of State Statistics, unalloyed steel manufacture in October dropped by 1% YoY and by 3.4% MoM, to 4.7 million tons, and in 10 months – by 1%.
Manufacture of stainless steel totaled 14.7 thousand tons, up by 8.2% MoM, but down by 13.7% YoY. In 10 months output dropped by 16.1%.
Other alloyed steel production fell by 5.6% YoY, but grew by 10.5% MoM, to 1.2 million tons.
Rolled metal manufacture increased by 1% YoY and by 3.3% MoM, to 5.1 million tons, but dropped by 0.3% YoY in January-October. (Ukrainian metal)
